Rules:
Must be grown by a boy or girl up to and including Grade 8.
Colour of pumpkin will not be a factor considering the early date of the Fair.
All exhibits must be entered by 9:30 am Fair Day with the Committee Chairperson
Judging will take place at 10:30 am.
Exhibits must remain on display until 4:30 pm and must be removed by 6:30 pm Fair Day.
No entry fee will be charged.
Entry form to include name and address.
The decision of the Judge is final.
Due to the reduced presence in the community of the Womens’ Institutes, which we greatly regret, this year the local Womens’ Institutes will provide an educational display in the tea room. Arkell, Badenoch and Brock Road will participate.

Entries must be placed by 5:00 pm Friday. Judges are authorized by the Directors to disqualify old work, and no prizes will be given unless the Judges consider there is merit. All exhibits in Classes 33, 34, & 35 must be the work of the Exhibitor. Any item can not be shown more than two (2) years. Only one entry allowed per person per section. All exhibits must remain in the Hall until 4:30 pm the day of the Fair. Any organized group may compete in any six (6) sections in each of Classes 33 & 34. Work to be done by a member of the organization.
The Specials for cumulative points winners in Class 33: 23, 51 & 54 and Class 34: 44 & 53 may not be won by the same person two years in succession. See Rules pg 9-10

OAAS Youth Poster Competition
Prizes - $5, $3, $2
NEW: - Two Classes -
1) Youth up to grade 6 - put age and grade on tag
2) Youth grade 7 to 12 - put age and grade on tag.
The poster must be an original, hand made design by an school student, with the theme of "Promoting Our Fair"
The poster must be a minimum of 11" x 17" (28 cm x 43 cm) and a maximum of 12" x 18" (30.5 cm x 46 cm).
The fair board will mount the winner on black art card for the OAAS District 7 competition in November/04, and if a winner at that competition, will forward the poster to the OAAS Convention in Toronto in February/05 for further prizes..
The name of the Fair, the student and the school must be clearly noted on the back of the poster.
