Prize Money: $40, $30, $20, $10

3,000 lb 4,000 lb

5,000 lb 5,500 lb

6,000 lb 7,000 lb

8,000 lb 9,000 lb

Maximum drawbar height 18" – 8,000 and 9,000 lb drawbar height 20"

Classes may be changed on the day of the pull, depending on the number of pullers.

Pig and People Spelling Contest

Ball Diamond 8:00 pm

Yes, just like in the commercial, contestants wear two letters and have to catch the pig with the remaining letters to form a work. The fastest wins.

Please register for this contest between 6:30 and 7:00 pm as there will be a limited number of spaces for contestants.

All pigs and necessary equipment are supplied.

Show & Shine Car Show

Please phone 223-7046 to pre-register before the date of the Fair in order that we may know the amount of space to set out for this event.

Vehicles to be on the Fair Grounds by 9:00 am Fair Day and must remain until 4:30.

Judge will award prizes and trophies. Each exhibitor will receive dashboard plate showing our appreciation.

Registration is at 9:30 am on Fair day at the horseshoe pits

Cost is $5.00 per player

Competition starts at 10:00 am

Puslinch Junior Pig Herding Contest

Please register at least one hour before the start of this event at the Ball Diamond Registration Desk located at the Ball Diamond.

Prizes $5, $3., $2 to be paid on Fair Day

Each contestant will be required to drive their pig from one pen, around a barrel and into the next pen and finish first.

All pigs and necessary equipment are supplied.

Unfortunately, we will only be able to have 7 contestants in each section. In the event that more people register for each section, we will hold a lottery of all names registered and draw 7 contestants.

Loonie in the Straw

Special event for young people - Take a big heap of straw, add both candy and real Loonies and Toonies, and let ‘em scramble. If it’s in your hand when the whistle blows, it’s yours.

Contestants will be given a timed free-for-all to dig through loose straw and keep what they find. They will have a chance to find real Loonies, Toonies, and candy.

The work of Aberfoyle Public School students will be on display in the Green Shed.

A special "Thank you!" to the committee of Wendy McDonald, Gail McKeen, Karen Chamberlain, the Staff and especially the students of the Aberfoyle Public School.

1. Open to children attending the Fair who weigh between 40 and 80 lbs.

2. Tractors, Sled and Scale will be provided.

3. Classes: a. 40-50 lbs c. 61-70 lbs

b. 51-60 lbs d. 71-80 lbs

4. Each contestant will be weighed before pull starts.
