Judging will be done according to the Horticultural Standards of the Department of Agriculture. Houseplants must have been in the possession of the exhibitor at least three months previous to the show. One entry only per person allowed in each section.

Class 28 Pumpkins

Biggest Pumpkin Contest

Prize Money: $25, $20, $15, $10, $10, $10, $10 for 1st to 7th place

All other entries will receive $1.Prizes are cash on fair day

Rules:

Must be grown by a boy or girl up to and including Grade 8.

Exhibit must be grown and cared for by the exhibitor in the course of this year.

All pumpkins will be weighed and prizes given accordingly. In the event of a tie, the pumpkins in question will be measured.

Colour of pumpkin will not be a factor considering the early date of the Fair.

Entry form must include name, address, and the name of the seed sown if known.

All exhibits must be entered by 5:00 pm Friday September 10, 2004. Please take pumpkins to the back Green Shed

Exhibits must remain on display until 4:30 pm and must be removed by 6:30 pm Fair Day.

Judging will take place in the Ball Diamond

No entry fee will be charged.

The decision of the Judge is final.
